Expert Fishing & Tour Guide Services in The Great Smoky Mountains
King Sailfish Mounts of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida was started in 1991 by accomplished marine artist Raymond Douglas. Now, over 18 years later, King Sailfish Mounts has grown to be a world-class producer of fish mounts and a solid leader in marine conservation. King Sailfish Mounts offers an array of mounted fish, producing both freshwater and saltwater fish release mounts. KSM has made a deliberate attempt to coin the term "Release Mount", not only to describe their product line, but also by definition to convey their conservation message to others and symbolize an age of environmental awareness. KSM has done more than any other company in the industry to encourage marine conservation. KSM will continue to discourage the killing of any trophy fish for mounting purposes - a practice which has contributed in part to the threatened and vulnerable status of many game fish today.
A Release Mount is a custom-tailored life-size replica of your actual fish that is produced using only manmade materials. Each replica is hand-crafted and painted to match specific markings and colors from actual photos and measurements of your trophy catch. Release Mounts are lightweight, easy to install and can be produced in only a few short weeks.
Kyle Fronrath of Fontana Guides is an authorized agent for King Sailfish Release Mounts. Fontana Guides exclusively uses and strongly recommends King Sailfish Mounts for any of your fish replica needs. Simply contact us or visit kingsailfishmounts.com for information on how to get a magnificent release mount of that once-in-a-lifetime catch!
GreenFish is a for-profit company with a social mission to build a global brand of stylish apparel and products that promote a sustainable fishing lifestyle. GreenFish partners with a group of organizations that share their vision of nurturing the sport of fishing and fisheries conservation. The company's goal is to build awareness and shift attitudes toward sustainable fishing and promote the sport for future generations to enjoy.
Learn with GreenFish! Anglers have a responsibility to the fish they chase as well as the next generation of anglers: Pay it forward. Understanding this relationship goes beyond just letting a landed fish go. Catch and release means being prepared with the right tackle and knowing how to play and handle a fish. Teaching kids to fish is more than just giving them a rod with a worm on the hook. Paying it forward also means thinking about the seafood choices we make in the grocery store or at a restaurant. Here are some helpful hints and tips on what we can do to help make sure the resource and the sport of recreational angling passes from one generation to the next. Please click here to browse sustainable fishing subjects that are core to the GreenFish brand!
GreenFish has also launched a program called "GreenFish Gives," in which GreenFish donates 5% of all revenues to a handful of non-profit organizations they work with to promote sustainable fishing practices. Show your colors and help spread the sustainable fishing message with GreenFish apparel!
Fontana Guides' very own Kyle Fronrath is currently a GreenFish Ambassador. To learn more about GreenFish, the GreenFish Gives Program, and the rest of their ambassador team and their new line of apparel - visit greenfishmovement.com.
